Positive and Negative HPT's

I posted yesterday about getting 2 very faint positive's on a 1st response HPT.  I tested again this morning and it was negative using the same kind of test, my period isnt due for a few more days so I am not sure what to think.  Anyone else ever had conflicting HPT's?

I have had this happen to me before. I know waiting is one of the hardest things to do if you are trying to get preg. but I would give it a few more days then try again. If you're still getting different results and aren't sure then go see your doctor.

That's why I like the digital ones.  It either says "pregnant" or "not pregnant" :)

wait until your period is due....the result will be more reliable.  It's really frustrating when you're trying to conceive and seems like agony to have to wait a few more days to test when you want to know right away.  I've bought so many HPT's before i even missed my period in the past...hoping i would get something.   One time, I could have sworn there was a faint positive....then the next test was negative and i got my period.  Through all of these experiences, i've learned it was better for my sanity to wait until my period was due or even a few days after if i didn't get my period.  You could still very well be pregnant....i just don't want you to get your hopes up.  Hopefully you get the answer you want in the next few days.  Good luck.

I think wait til ur due, that way ur levels would be high enough to read if u are, and if not u may get af instead.
