Possible birth control issue?
I recently started taking Loestrin 24. I started experiencing light bleeding during sex which lasts for a day or 2 then stops, but then occurs again the next time. It only happens during/after sex. I've never had this happen before. There was nothing abnormal when I had my check up and was given the prescription. Has anyone ever heard of this happening with this brand?
I have been on Loestrin for about 4 months now, true it is low in hormones but I am taking it continuously for Endometriosis so I haven't had any spotting at all. Loestrin itself means low in estrogen. You might want to ask your doctor for one with higher level of hormones
I was taking Loestrin Fe and had alot of spotting the first month (not necessarily while having sex). I also had more spotting in the third month. I told my doctor & she said that the hormones were too low for me. I would let your doctor know and see if there might be a better one out there for you.
