Post Tubal Ligation Question

Hi all - I have a question --

I had my tubal on 10/3 and at the same time, the doctor burned off endometriosis.  I have had two prior surgeries to remove endometriosis (when I was younger -- I am now 30 with 2 kids, ages 6 & 3) . I also had my IUD removed the same day as the tubal.  I was admitted to the hospital on 10/5 for a post surgical staph infection at the belly button incision. The morning of 10/5 I started bleed like a period.  Anyway, I bled the 5 days I was in the hospital (10/5 - 10/10). Now it is time for my period and I have not started. My husband and I have only "tested the new freedom" once, but I know anything is possible. Anyway, it is o.k. to miss my first post tubal period? Just a little concerned and my GYN was off on Friday. Thanks! ~K
