Pregnancy Question

I am in my 14th week of pregnancy and I need advice.  I am going to be a first time mom and I have questions that I need answered.  Lately I have been feeling like I have to really use the bathroom but when I go I dont really have to go but my bladder feels like I have to go.  Could thins be the baby being near my bladder, I dont think so cause the baby mr dr said is only about 2 1/2 3 inches long.  what else could it be??  Also at times I dont feel like I am pregant.  I feel that I should feel the changes going on in my body but the only thing that is making me see that I am pregnant is taht I am gaining weight, I am very tired all the time, not the kind of tied when you had a long day at work.  is it normal to sometimes not really feel the changes in your body?  I feel like these are dumb questions, but I am all new to this.  Any advise will help

nalla is right sounds like you are in the beginnings of a bladder infection.  Call your dr.  As for not feeling pregnant.  You are in that stage where your morning sickness and pg symptoms are fading, but just wait they come back in the 3rd trimester.  Good Luck.

No, these are not dumb questions at all! I think every first time mother has these questions along with a million more. I know I did! Even with my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pregnancy I had a million questions.
About your bladder, it's possible that you are trying to get a UTI. That is what happend to me, I would go to the bathroom and there wouldn't be much that would come out and there would be a lot of presure, but no burning. You should mention it to your Dr.
And you are now in your 2nd trimester. That is usually when women begin to feel really good. The sickness is gone, you begin to have more energy, etc. I wouldn't worry about not feeling pregnant. It's pretty normal to begin to feel good at the stage you are in. Pretty soon you will begin to feel little movements and then huge kicks and then wish you were back in your second trimester. LOL
But my Dr. always told me to listen to my gut, if you feel like there is something wrong go in. Always better to be safe than sorry. But in my opinion, from what you said, things are right in track with you!
Congrats on your little one and hope you have a safe and happy rest of pegnancy!
