First of all, I want to thank everyone for their posts. I find it comforting to know that there are other people out their that are as confused as I am!! However, I dont wish the anxiety that goes along with it on anyone. My hubby and I went off BC a year ago. We have not really been trying but we havent not been trying either. We decided that we would really start trying a two months ago so I tried some Ovulation kits and nothing happend. Then the I got my period the next week so figured that I missed ovulation (couldnt remember when my last period was to begin with). 21 days after the 1st day of my last period I started brown spottingVaginal bleeding between periods). On day 25, I had a very light period (w/ no PMSPremenstrual syndrome Relieving pms) for 3 days and then back to brown spottingVaginal bleeding between periods for another 10 days (total of 17 days and still going). The past two days I have had mild cramping and back ache. This is all very strange, I have never had an early period and I always have PMSPremenstrual syndrome Relieving pms before starting and usually heavier periods. I have had some queasiness and this morning I thought I was going to be sick but nothing happened and it passed quickly. I have also had a stronger sense to smellSmell - impaired Stools - foul smelling than normalNormal saline flush and mild dizziness at times. Yesterday, a friend suggest I take a pregnancy test (never crossed my mind). I did last night and it was negative. I took another one this morning because I heard that is when you should take it - negative. I have no breast tenderness or out of the ordinary fatigue. I am scheduled for my annual apt next week so I am sure I will find out then what is going on. In the meantime, I am just a bit anxious that something may really be wrong. Does anyone have any input for me?
I am with you on this one sister! I had sex on the 17th. was due for my period on the 25th. I spotted and quit on the 26th and then the same thing again on the 27th. My doc did a PT when it was 11 days after possible conception, just incase there was a september conception. It was negative. I took a HPT at two weeks and it was negative. I have been so nauseated everyday for the past 2 weeks and just in the past 3-4 days ive been getting Dizzy and lightheaded. Everything turns my stomach just the thought of some foods makes me ill. I have yet to actually get sick but I just can't handle this feeling. I just need to know when will there be a substantial amount of HCG so i can take another pregnancy test? I don't want to wait 2 more weeks til i either get a period or miss it again. I have heard that HCG doesnt show on a PT until about 3 weeks. I start my 4th week tomorrow. Ahh.. pregnant or not?
First off, what kind of BC were you on? I have just recently read that the depo shot can cause you to be infertile and have irregular periods for up to 18 months after your last shot. This could be a cause. Also, not ovulating could be a sign of non-ovulation, which would also explain your irregular periods. Going to a doctor and take a BLOOD test *do not let them talk to into a pee test* is the most accurate way of knowing.
Last, stress can cause you to A. Miss your period and B. continue to not receive it. I did not get my period for 5 days once because I wanted to be pregnant so bad a practically made myself miss it. After I decided that there was no way I could be pregnant I got it like clock work.
My best advice would be to take a blood test and speak to your doctor about fertility supplements and vitamins to help you conceive.
Good Luck lady's! :thumb:
