Has anyone on here, or do you know anyone here who has become pregnant even though they were using condoms?

You don't count.  You could use every birth control known to man combined and you'd still get pg.  LOL!!

Lived in a small town in the middle of nowhere and bought a box of condoms. Should have thought better of it when we had to blow dust off the top of the box as we placed it on the counter to check out. I have NO idea how old they were, and they weren't Trojans or a known brand, I recall they were multi colored LOL but don't think there was an expiration date on the box.. Anywho.. Her name is Sam, she was #5 and is almost 11 years old;)

A condom used perfectly (especially with a spermicidal foam) should protect you very well.  But humans aren't perfect!  Who ever heard of a perfectly executed roll-on and roll off of a condom in the heat of passion (LOL)?  And then staying away from the "moisture" and so on?  Much less the issue of slippage or breakage.

Yes,I have gotten pregnant while using a condome with the spermiside (sp?) and it's didn't fall off or anything. I have been hearing more and more of women getting pregnant with just condoms. Do you think that you might be pregnant?

It is completely impossible to get pregnant through an intact condom.

I don't mean to be rude, but it IS possible to get pregnant while using a condom. I got pregnant while using one and it didn't fall off or break. It was on like it was supposed to be. And if you read some of the other posts above, some of the other women got pregnant with condoms also. and at least on the package that we have, it says that condoms are not 100% effective. And we also used the one that has spermiside in it. NO form of birth control is 100% effective....the pill, IUD, sponge, the depo shot.I have even heard of women getting pregnant after their tubes have been tied. The ONLY way not to get pregnant is not having sex. With ANY birth control, sometimes a sperm will find it's way around the the birth control and get to that egg.

Sorry. I hold to my story. Perhaps when he removed the condom, some semen spilled on your vulva. Maybe he pressed his penis against you just after removing the condom. Maybe the condom wasn't on from start to finish. Whatever. But the failure rates of condoms are only due to breakage or slipping off. You cannot get pregnant through an intact condom when used correctly.

My daughter, 15 is proof that condoms used properly by adults do sometimes fail.

Spermicide greatly reduces the risk of pregnancy.

and I have to say, condoms are not one size fits all. That could also be an issue ;)
