Pregnancy without uterus
Hi,
I know this will be the stupid question, but I want to help my friend.
She is 27 years old,she don't have uterus,Ovaries and fallopian tubes are there, reproductive organs developed.
Is there any chance to carry her own baby.We heard that, somewhere one male carried a baby and given birth to baby.Is that possible,Is there any hope for our friend.
Thankyou.

without a uterus it would at this point be medically impossible to get pregnant, since pregnancy itself is defined as the fertilized egg impanting on the wall of the uterus. what your friend could do, if she had the money, would be to have her eggs fertilized outside of the womb and then carried by a surrogate mother. it would be her genetic child, but someone else would carry the baby.

There is absoultey no way your friend could carry a child without a uterus. The man you are speaking of is biologically a woman and kept her reproductive organs, but took testerone pills to have the physical appearance of a man. But, like thealittlebirdie said she could have a child via surrogate mother. So, there is hope.
