My dermoid cyst removal took place on 3/22/02, almost a month ago. The cyst was a true, mature dermoid--noncancerous all across the board.
As of the past couple of days, I've been noticing some pressurePressure ulcer on both sides of my abdomen. The cyst had taken up residence on the left ovary: thankfully, the doc preserved it during my surgery.
These intermittent jabs of pain aren't excruciating, but I've been experiencing them. My period just finished.
Does this sound like a red flag, or should I wait to see if it continues before I have my next post op appt. with the doc next Monday, April 24?
I was advised by two [medical professionals] recently to watch out for ingrown hairs around my incision area that might try to mount their attack. I have never been cautioned about this before. I don't know why I wasn't told this after my 3 sections. Has anyone else incurred these after sections/laparotomy?
