Problem...

I am sorry ahead of time if this is gross. I think it's gross beyond belief.

Last night I went to the restroom. When I went to wipe with toilet paper, I gross "thing" came out. I have never seen anything like this and it has scared the wits out of me. It looked like the consistancy of jello. It was clear and about an inch long. Very sticky in texture.

Does anybody know what this could be?

I had my period last week. I have been urinating fine with no pain. I am on the birth control Yasmin. I have been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I had a yeast infection about a month and a half ago, but that has come and gone.

Any ideas? Please help.

okay..well thank you Amaterasu. I wasn't overly worried about it because it was odor-less and color-less. Just was odd since I have never seen anything like it.

Thanks again! :)

I've passed them when I urinate before, but more often when I defecate.  Basically, it's the push to void your bladder or bowel that also causes the kegels to flex and expell CM.  Everyone has different amounts of CM because everyone's hormone levels and body's reacton to those levels are different.  Perhaps you have more estrogen than your mom, or maybe you drink more water.  There are a lot of factors, but I've had some just like that, and yes, it's gross, but it's very normal.

I wanted to add that what came out was not thin. It was about an inch long and i'd say almost an inch wide.

Okay I googled fertile cervical mucus and got a website that explains it perfectly. I have never passed one of these before that came out while I urinated. I even asked my mom if she has ever seen one of these and she said no.

How come it would come out in this form? Does it usually and people don't notice it? Does it usually break apart?

I am so confused by all of this.

Every girl has a natural discharge and yours is 100% normal.

Sounds like fertile cervical mucus, also called egg white cervical mucus.  Your body produces it when you are about to ovulate (or your body thinks you are due to high estrogen levels since you are on birth control and thus aren't ovulating).  It is the substance your body makes to carry the sperm to the egg.
