Has anyone found out about prolonged prolonged periods? My period has lasted two weeks and is light to medium flow today. I have regular 31 day cycles (on ave). Recently, I had two 35 day cycles, which is normal. Then started menstruation after 15 days (very short!). Since I've started, it's been "light-medium" to "spotting," varying day to day, but fairly continuous. The cramping has been fairly continuous too. It's not as sever as my typical menstruation cramps. The cramps are light and in the front on the left, like an ovulation cramp. Originally, I thought I was spotting with ovulation and having cramps. I am not on birth control, but am on a low dose synthetic progesterone (prescription). I started the prescription three months ago. The first two months were regular with these exceptions: the first month I cramped with ovulation, and the second I spotted (but no cramps) with ovulation. This month (the third) I started cramping and spotting with what I thought was ovulation, but the "period" and "cramping" have continued for two weeks and this has turned into something more "period like" with light to medium flow. Anyway, I'm worried. It's been two weeks and usually I only have 6 day periods.
Hi! I'm 17 and I am having a similar problem. Since I was 12, I have had extremely regular periods lasting 7 days exactly. A few months ago they started to be really irregular. Right now, I have been on my period for two weeks. I told my mother and she thinks it may be stress related. And the fact that I am STILL on my period makes me worry even more. I've also been getting headaches daily and random aches and pains everywhere with no explanation.
I had back surgery a couple of months ago.My period the next month was 3 or 4 days light bleeding. This month 24 days and counting light bleeding.Mine is 3 or 4 day cycle normally.Never had kids and only 36
