Really sore breasts

My breats have been really sore now for about five days, I thought it was just "that time of month," but I've never had sore breasts before for this long and this sore. I don't think Im pregnant because I have an IUD. Could it be anything else?  I have not had a period since the beginning of May so I am A little late but it happens, can any one tell me what it is or what it could be? I am a little scared. Thank you so much

Ummmm, you haven't had a period since the beginning of May?  Today is June 24th, so you are quite a bit late, actually.

It is possible to get pregnant with an IUD in place.  Not very likely, but not impossible (my first son is proof of that!).

Take a HPT using a first morning urine and find out--your mind may rest much easier with a negative result.  Sometimes anxiety and stress can make your period slightly late.

Check back and let me know.
