Recurring Yeast Infections.

I got my first yeast infection July 11,2015 and i've kept having on ever since. In the first months, the burning was there the whole time and after that I could use yeast infection medicine to help banish the symptoms, but they always come back. Sometimes I'll go to the doctor and there will only be a little yeast, sometimes it will be Bv and Yeast( no very freq.).

Now here it is June 17, 2016 and I'm still have burning due to random yeast infections and I feel like my doctors aren't taking me seriously. They keep giving me diflucan which takes forever to work only for the infection to come back 2 weeks later. I've done everything from changing soap, washing detergent, no jeans, cotton under, changing underwear constantly, no baths, no swimming pools, loose clothing,  eating yogurt, changing pads frequently, no birth control, no douching, and stop using tampons. Yet, I'm still getting them.

Does anyone have any experience with this problem?

Hm - have you tried taking probiotics? You can get much higher doses of probiotics when taking a supplement than you can get in commercial yogurts. If you try, make sure you read up on them a little bit. Some brands don't contain the number of active cultures they claim to contain. A lot of times, you need to take one that requires refrigeration. There are several shelf-stable varieties; I've taken Pearls and have read good things about them.  Hope that helps!
