Red dots during pregnancy mean boy or girl?

So.  When I was pregnant with my son, I broke out in red dots very early on.  They are flat, not raised like most i have read about.  My dr at the time looked at me and told me I was having a boy and that the dots started at week 14 even though I think they started earlier.  she said the testosterone starts at week 14,  This time. I didnt have the dots, so i thought girl but now I am almost 19 weeks and the red dots just appeared.  Does this mean i am having another boy?  anyone else had this??

I've only heard that it's high estrogen in your body. Not related to sex of infant. Evidently, it's just a tale.
