Revolving Door of Nausea and feeling well

Is there anyone who might be able to help me?  I have been fighting a seemingly endless battle between feeling well for 2-3 weeks then having 2-3 days of nausea, diahrea and general stomach upset.  I'll feel awful for a few days, then feel great for a couple of weeks, then go right back to the nausea etc.  My 3 year old seems to also be going through something similar, vomitting every couple of weeks, then feeling fine.  Help!

Is there a chemical that enters your environment every 2-3 weeks? Is that when you clean the bathroom? Do laundry? go buy groceries? Visit a specific business? Visit a specific person's home? Eat a certain food? As the last poster said, you should ask your doctor, but also pay attention to what happens around you just before you become ill. I've read many articles about adverse reactions to chemicals that don't seem to do any harm to most people, but set others off. There is also the possibility that something you're eating has not been kept at the right temperature,or has gone bad, and you're experiencing mild food poisoning.

I agree with Ann. There is "something" that you are missing, linking the illness you and your 3 year old are experiencing. It is just too coincidental, the timeing adn the fact that it is hitting both of you. See your doc and let him do a sort of study on the two of you to see if he can help find the "link".
I would love to hear what you find out. So please keep us posted and I hope both of you are feeling better soon!
