Scared to death !

I have had this pain in my right side (ovary area and a bit higher) that goes into my right hip, lower back and today is going into my butt (sorry but I want to give eveything I'm feeling).

At times the bone right over my butt area on that side is sore to touch as if it's bruised and now and then I feel a weird sensation by my belly button. I saw the Dr back in June and he said ovaries felt fine but did no Ultrasound. I am 43 and on BC for the last 8 yrs.

I am terrified of what this could be and have noticed it seems a little worse as I approach periods. I can feel something in there that sometimes pinches when I move. I have another appt but it's not for a week.

Anyone ever have this ? I've been reading about the symptoms I am experiencing and I'm scared to death that it's ovarian cancer...please help.

When I was diagnosed with endometriosis, I had weird sensations like pinching and pulling in my uterine area, and pain in my left ovary. My doctor felt around and also told me she didn't feel any lumps or cysts. After I had laparoscopy, she said there IS a cyst on my left ovary, and that the inflammation in my veins was a sign of endometriosis. When I told her about the pulling and movement (don't know how else to describe it), she didn't really comment on that, but said the pains were from the endo. I still feel ill-informed on what exactly is happening in there, but I also realize there is not a lot of info yet on many female reproductive organ disorders. Up until a decade or two ago, every time a woman had problems in that region, she had two choices: grin and bear it, or have a hysterectomy. I'm certainly not trying to diagnose you, just relating a similar experience. :)

Well I went last night, they siad they could see me early. She felt around and says that she feels no lumps or anything but it was extremely painful on that side. She is sending me for an Ultrasound tomorrow.

I feel this weird sensation all the way up to my bellybutton.

I hope this comes out okay...

Have you thought about it being an ovarian cyst. Those can become very painful. Another thing that it could be is on the side where you OV. I have constant pain sometimes on my right side and I know that is the side that I OV. You will probably tell me that it is not possible because you are having to much pain. I have that kind of pain. I have had a 2 inch cyst removed off of my right side and also an Ectopic pregnancy on that side. I have went to the DR's numerous times to check out the pain I was having on that side. I even had a laporoscopy(I know I did not spell that right)and they found nothing. It is the ovary that I OV from. I hope that you get the answers that you are looking for.

I feel your scaredness! i have pain on my left side where my ovary is and sometimes to the right. But i also have this pain down my legs mostly my left one. so i tell my dr about it and he thinks i have a slipped disk or a pinched nerve and puts me on nexaprone or whatever it is. but the pain is still there. So i have contacted him and he is setting up an appointment for me to get an MRI done, maybe u should do that?.
