Scared about my period.

im 12 and ive been reading about how if you dont get your period by 15 see a doctor, and that your period won't start from 2 to 3 after your breasts starts to develope. My Breasts just started to show (and need a bra) around Christmas 08. I didn't get a bra till last month, but it still slides up. And if you havent figured it out in 2 years i turn 15 (my b-days in sept.), 3 years I turn 16, so im freaking out. My best freind started Last month or so and my other close freind has had it for awhile. My BF's doctor (before her period) told her about an invisable period, but I dont know. Also I get alot of what i think is discharge. I'm afraid to talk to my mom about it becouse its a wierd subject.

I dont know why you are worrying about this, you're only 12, enjoy your time not having your period. I didn't get mine until I was 14.

I dont know where you read that about breast development, all girls develop at different rates, mine sprouted when I was about 13 or 14 I would say and continued to grow for a while after that.

About the bra sometimes it takes a few bad bras before you find a good one. As you grow you can go to Victoria Secret and they can measure you for a bra and tell you what size you are. I don't know if any other place does this. Tell your mom you feel that your bra is inadequate and tell her why you feel this way and that you would like another one.

Ok I know you want your period bc your friends have theirs but believe me when you get it you'll want to give it back. What are you stressed about? Enjoy your young life with no periods bc when the periods come you'll be more stressed. You'll have to buy tampons or pads worry about if blood leaked into your clothes and if everyone was going to see. I got my period in 5th grade and I had an accident like that the whole class laughed at me I felt horrible. The cramps and mood swings that come along with the hormone changes. All I'm saying is that it will come you should just chill and wait for it. Also if you do sports it can be delayed for a matter of years all womens bodies are different just enjoy yours. As far as the discharge your a growing young woman if there in no burning, fowl smell, or itiching what your experiencing is just normal. Stop stressing theres nothing to be stressed about. Talk to your mom I know it's weird but remember she was just like you when she was young.
Stop stressing you have 2yrs to get your period I think thats enough time.
Good Luck and Be Safe!!!!
