Scrape/Irritation in upper labia minora?

The other night I was itchy "down there" and I was rubbing it to get rid of it (I didn't use any nails) and the next day I was sore. So I did some investigation and it looks like right side of the labia minora, just the hood by the clitoris looked red and irritated. It's slightly swollen and very sensitive and itchy. It looks like the top layer has been scraped off, as if you were to fall down and scrape your knee. The wound is raw and it stings when I pee or sit in certain positions. It's only a very small spot though. but it's uncomfortable and painful if I touch it. I am thinking that maybe the friction from me rubbing it caused this.

I have done a bit of  research and I read some people *cut* their labia minora with a razor and can let it heal on it's own. I am wondering if this is something minor, and will it go away by itself? if so, how long? and how can I help myself feel more comfortable? Thanks!
Also, there is no puss or weird discharge or bumps. just a sore

I dont really know where to go to ask for advice, so i just thought of posting here, in the comments area, instead.

I think i have the same problem as she does, but mine might have been due to rough sex. The inner aspect of my labia minora, below the clit, have been scaped, it looks sort of rug-like and raw. It's on the opposing sides, both would measure around 1cm in diameter. It's not painful though, but somehow disturbing when one of the little strands of scraped tissue would be displaced. I would usually go to the bathroom just to put it back to its place. I do hope you understand what im talking about. And i was hoping that someone could tell me if this would still go back to normal? What should i do to hasten that process? And when should i expect it to be normal?, just so i know if it's already time to ask help from a doctor. Please help. Im really worried.

Yes, most times the cut will heal on it's own, it just takes a little longer due to the sensitivity of the area.  Try not to scrub at it a lot, or rub it.  I know it's irritating.  You could also soak in some warm water to keep it clean and get some relief from the rawness.  No sex, that will make it worse for sure!
