Second opinion on period/pregnancy

I know you probably get this all the time but it's been on my mind and I really don't think I'm pregnant I just want to get a second opinion but don't want to mention it to others because, I had a scare last year which turned out to be false.

Basicaly I delayed taking my next batch of pills for about a week because I had run out of them and it took ages to get an apointment at my surgery.
I read through the leaflet but got confused and didnt realise I wasn't meant to have unprotected sex for the first 7 days I thought that was for first time pill users.

Well I had sex without a condom BUT he withdrew at the last moment, because he keeps getting paranoid everytime we try without a condom, we also that month start to have sex without one, then he goes to get one.

Last week I was meant to get my period and it didn't really happen, I wore 2 tampons on the Thursday and Friday just for two, 2 hour exams, afterwards I noticed a small amount of blood on the tampons, apart from that no other bleeding.
I don't think I'm pregnant I just think it is my pill messing my hormones up because it had a weeks delay.

But I keep feeling sick, and waking up at about 3 or 4 am recently unable to sleep or just feeling ill in general. I also feel bloated and paranoid that I've put on weight, I'm also peeing more often and I usualy have excellent bladder control!

I guess I'm just being stupid, any opinions?

Keep in mind that your period is in part controlled by your pill. Since you started taking your pill late this time, your period is going to be late because the pill keeps it from coming (that is the trick to those pills that let you only have a few periods a year...the hormones in the pill keep your period from occurring).

Thank you! It really screws with your head doesnt it? Maybe an ultrascan or blood test should be taken?
I hope it works out, the way you want it to! I should probably go take a pregnancy test but I can't help but feel I'm over-reacting like I did last year, so I haven't told anyone.

I dont think you are stupid. I am having the same problem. I have sex without a condom and I am on the pill. Then I stopped being on the pill for the 1 week to have my period. Then I didnt have my period. I have taken 3 pregnancy tests the doctor examined me to me I am not pregnant. But I am gaining weight, my breasts are getting bigger, I am up peeing every hour, I cant sleep very well.
