Post OB/GYN. He did a culture and diagnosed me for BV, issued 500mg Flagyl for a wk. b/w for hiv waiting on a wk later. he stated that all other physical symptoms were not related and that i got better w self treatment because it was all in my head, that the yeast tx was a placebo. Would not test for hsv w no visible lesions altho he agreed that symptoms can be very mild or asymptomatic. With muscle aches, mild sore throat/ tongue, minor vaginal/ anal pruritis and ache, GERD like symptoms, headaches, sore buttocks and fatigue still persisting and no reasonable explanation, i continued with azo yeast, acidophilus and later continued OTC miconazole with 95% imp. It is just lingering now, still no sores, + few random pimples n pustules on upper body and mid outer thigh beginning w slight itch. He says candida not even considerable unless u have virtually no immune system (cancer or HIV patients). Will I ever get better, What is wrong with me? Do these symptoms have any relation to HSV??
Thank you for your response and concern. Awaiting appt with ob/gyn 2/22. This week papules migrated to my face w some itching and deeper non inflamed papules...ugh! Given my hx and long list of broad symptoms :/ I incorporated acidophilus, yogurt and Azo Yeast into my diet to try ruling out possibility of a systemic yeast infection. Will keep posted. Thank you!
Hello,
Lymph nodes become swollen if there is any active infection going on in the body. You should consult a gynecologist. Diagnosis can be confirmed after pelvic examination and microscopic examination of the vaginal discharge.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Dont know if relative, Also long hx of severe and frequent UTI's. Recently tested negative twice for bladder infections. Pap smear few wks ago came back normal.
