by Salii, May 28, 2007 12:00AM
Since being with my rescent partner (1.4 years) i seem 2 have lost my sex drive and dont lubricate alot or sometimes at all. Im not on anything different meds only thing that has changed is i now work at a pub and do longer hours. Could this have anything to do with it ? i am on the pill but have been for years.
We do still have sex and i enjoy it, but i would like to increase my drive. What can i do i love him and am very much attracted to him, but there is little to no drive ? please help :)

Try new things, new positions, re-live fantasties, spice things up using your imagination,or alternatively find an aphrodisiac (a herbal suppliment from your local herbal store) might be an idea.

For women in their late 30s and older, the best results are from products that boost their hormone levels: Maca, DHEA and HGH. For younger women, try Maca, Ginkgo Biloba, Saw Palmetto, Damiana and Sarsaparilla. Saw Palmetto is the primary ingredient in the herbal products that increase your breast size.

Ginseng tea also is apparentely supposed to boost energy during sex.

I would certainly recommend referring to your doctor before taking additional meds with the pill your currently on though, because I know St Johns Warts interrupts with ad's, so Ginko Biloba might effect your pill.

Hope that helps and good luck.

I  actually just read an article that said your sex drive can go down when on the pill. More research has to be done on it, but they do say there is a link. Just food for thought.
