Sharp Pain in breast

I've been having a sharp achy pain going through my left breast. It's lasted for about 10 minutes. What is this?

I dont know, but I get it too..
its not fun, I just put an ice pack on it..

ewwwww weird, i was getting that too! But not anymore, i mean it really hurt. I was getting it about a month ago.

I wonder if it has something to do with your breasts changing after breastfeeding. I breastfeed my son about 9 months ago.

well i'm pregnant now, and the last time i was was 6 yrs ago lol
and i didn't breast feed.

Both you and the lady before you that posted both have been experiencing this pain and both of you are pregnant. This isn't a pregnancy thing is it.

I breast fed all three of my children now 18,17 & 14 for 3 months or so, I had a partial hysterectomy 3 years ago and recently the last month or so I have been having sharp pain in my right breast.  What is it? Should I be concerned.  When it first started, I would feel for lumps or any abnormality, but doesn't seem like anything is there. Help!

My wife started getting this pain in the left breast, started two to three days ago. And stats that it is in the breast and not above, below, near the arm pit, in the neck or upper back. Not even in the right breast, just the left. She's taking over the counter drugs like tylnol, motrin, etc.. but doesn't really work, a hot compress that helps for a little bit she says. Are there any suggestions???? I asked her to let me take her to the ER but she keeps posponing it
