Shiny, red, lump on outer labia (top right side)

I have a lump, about the size of 1/4 - 1/2 size of a pea located on the right side of the outer labia. Doesn't really look pimple like, more like a little nipple. Squeezing it did nothing.  I discovered it when I was shaving using a clippers, and I hit it.  It bled a little.  It itches a bit, but that might be healing from the clippers.  It doesn't ooze anything, no odor either.  I guess it's not harming anything but freaking me out big time!

Thanks for your input!

I went to the doctor this morning...first she said it was a skin tag.  She did some little test by putting vinegar on it...if it turned white it would be a wart and if it did nothing it would be a skin tag.  So she put vinegar on it and nothing happened.  She put more on ....still nothing.  Third time, she put more on...and she said only a tiny bit of it turned white.  My pap was normal and usually it will show a positive sign of HPV.  So she gave me some ointment and if that doesn't work. She'll biopsy it.  Good luck to you.  Let me know your outcome.
