For some people it takes more than a month, especially depending on what kind of birth control you are on. It took me about 2 months. I'd keep monitoring it... it also took me several different kinds to get the one that really worked for me. Hope this helps.

Ya, I did for the first month. The doctors say that you are protected after using for a week... but for some reason, I'd say it'd be better to wait until after your first period, just to be safe! :)
