A Friendly word of advice...
Schedule an appointment with your doctor immediately.
Read everyone's advice...but remember, you may want children, you may have a proble,..
I have had displacia on my cervix ast 23 (this was in the 1980's)-
Don't take any chances.
If it's been more than a year since your last annual exam (w/pap and all) then make an appt. for an Annual and tell the doc about your abnormal cycles. Once you hit the age of 18 and/or become sexually active then you should be getting a regular yearly exam.
Like you, I am a VERY regular, average kinda girl and if I miss AF it has been because I was pregnant. Never late other than that and would be just as concerned as you if all of a sudden it disappeared for no reason.
If you think you can stand the worry and wish to wait, then do so, but if not then go ahead and make the appt. And let us know how you're doing. *Much Luck*

Stress, exercise, weight gain/loss can cause a period to be absent... Its normal for ur period to be off sometimes.. Take a hot bath & try to relax.. You can also go to the doc & they can give you something to jump start ur period. Hope that helps =)
Any chance you have a thyroid problem? It may be nothing b/c our periods just sometimes change on us. Not to be too graphic, but is there enough of a flow to need a pad or tampon? If so, then maybe your cycle has just changed. But if you're just spotting I would have that checked out.
Thanks for replying. :) No, I am not underweight. If anything, I could lose 10-12 pounds! lol I am not an athlete either, unfortunately! Maybe I'm over reacting, I just have been so normal for so long... this is scaring me to death! Not to mention I have two young people close to me (unrelated to me) that have had cervical cancer. So I'm panicky! Thanks again!
No need for a pad.... okay, if it doesn't regulate by next month I guess a trip to the doctor, I'll have to make. Thanks so much for replying. :)
You may want to give it another cycle, but if it is that strange again I would see a DR. There are many reasons that you can stop having your period. You should find out why this is happening. Any chance that you are underweight or very athletic? Did you recently go on a diet?
I should also add that I am not currently on any birth control. (I have not been sexually active in several months and am 100% certain I'm not pregnant.)
