Skips Period every August?

Hi, so I am 17 years old and had my period since 12/13, ive never had sex either and not on the pill.

My periods have been so far regular and on time but last year I skipped August, then had my period in September just after school started again, and it was regular after that.

Once again this year my periods have been on time but now it is end of July/August and my period is now late by 2 weeks....

Why is my Period skipping August (I'm assuming its going to skip the whole of August like it did last year)

Also, a couple weeks ago I did experience minor cramps and hormonal attitude changes which I consider to be sins of my period to be due, but as I have said, Im late...

Any suggestions or anyone else experience this?

Thank you

So, one of the reasons that periods can be late is a change of routine. Like being out of school for summer?  Vacation?  Weight gain or loss?  Stress of starting school?  All of these things affect your cycle and may be why at this time of year, you're irregular.  good luck
