Sore weeping rash in my inner thigh creases, what could it be?

Hi All, I am very concerned about a rash that appears in my inner thigh creases near my vagina. It appears every 2 weeks and becomes very sore, weeps and smells. I don't wear tight clothing and make sure I wash this area with water and do not use strong soaps. Does anyone know what it could possibly be? I am a little embarrassed to ask my doctor thats why I thought I would see if anyone has any clue here first. Thank you

You do need to go to the doctor and have it looked at--I had this once and it was on going for some time--it was not a STD--it was what is commonly know as jock itch.  It is where you inderwear can rub on oyur sking and create an irritant and then later turn into a yeast infection.  You need a prescription cream to clear it up.  I used that and have never had a reoccurence since.

Don't be concerned on what the doctor will think--they have seen everything and anything--also excessive washing actually could be more detrimental to the problem than anything else.

I had this and it turned out to be Candida (yeast)...Doc prescribed a cream and powder (Nystatin powder and some kind of cream)...said over-the-counter wouldn't do it (and didn't)....Go to the doctor..seriously, they've always seen worse!
