Special Day!! :-)
Well, today has been such a wonderful day full of curiosity, anxiousness, and happy tears. :-)
IT'S A GIRL!!!!
I'm 16 weeks along, and she's such a hyper little thing! She was waving 'HI'... and even flipped us off. lol.
She kicks like crazy, and moves constantly.. She's even photogenic! We got a great face shot, and she was posing for us with her arms behind her head and everything. It was such a blast watching her.
Oh it was absolutely wonderful. I cant wait to meet my little angel.
It's something wonderful to share with loved ones this Christmas. :-)

Just wanted to share the joy!
I have an 8 mo old girl and she is definatley a Daddys girl. My hubby loves her to pieces. He hopes to have more girls in the future!!! Girls are fun.....enjoy yours, and its an awesome feeling to know that your daughter will look up to you as a woman.
Jenni>> I'm sorry James is behaving like a little brat but I'm not going to judge. I know a LOT of guys are like that, wanting a son to carry on the family name, someone to play ball with etc... But in the end I think most of the time it ends up just like you said, where he lays eyes on the little darling and melts. Your attitude is terrific and just what your little baby girl needs. You and her AGAINST THE WORLD!! Together you can do anything. You truly belong to each other, and always will. This is a bond that NO ONE can take away, and only us women are allowed to experience this.
You just keep looking after and enjoying your little ballerina, I'm sure that you'll start feeling her VERY soon. Try laying flat on your back and pressing lightly on your tummy with a flat hand. You should be able to feel your uterus, feels like a grapefruit sort of.. Be patient and wait, soon you will feel the grapefruit change, roll, and kind of spazm. Try this every few days til you start feeling what I am talking about, plus you will notice the changes. Just a suggestion.
Again, I am so HAPPY for you and can't wait to see what happens next.. Ohh gotta go check out your site..

I cant feel her yet... I just saw her on the ultrasound. She was very active... Kicking and playing with her hands, almost like she's dancing. :-) My little tiney dancer.

The boyfriend didnt take the girly news very well. He actually threw a tantrum, and flipped out, and was just horrible. He was so darn mean... He dosnt want her. He can't stand the sight of me because I'm having a girl.
That's okay, because she dosnt need him. He's a sick man, and she dosnt need to be exposed to his temperment and manipulation. My dad is a wonderful person, and he will be male guidance she needs. :-)
But who knows, maybe James will come around, and accept it. But until then, I just shake my head in dissapointment and ask myself how could someone be so cruel? How could someone hate an unborn baby? How could someone be so selfish?
I'm sure he will come out of it. Once she looks at him with big blue eyes and do a 'coo' he'll fall inlove.

how come you couldnt wait girl??? i waited the whole 9 months to see if it was a boy or girl. i had a feeling that it was a boy and so did others. i went into the hospital and they had to perform an emergency c-section. the baby came out and even though they announced what it was, i didnt hear. i kept saying, half crying..is it a boy or a girl? no one heard me. is it a boy or a girl? (voice quivering) its a girl!! i was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy. to be honest, i didnt know what to do with a boy! im sure that i would though if it was!

Oh Jenni, That is TERRIFIC news!!! I know you were wanting a girl, not that you would have been disapointed either way. I think this is the first time you've talked about feeling movement. Did you just start noticing it? Or have you been keeping secrets? LOL J/K I know the first time you feel the movements, you question it and doubt it and seems EVERYTIME you tell someone you feel the baby, they grumble that it's too early and is probably just gas..LOL So you have a LOT of new stuff going on huh? And so much to look forward too. I am so excited for you and hope this is the PINKEST Christmas EVER for you!!
