Sperm allergies?

by Duppy, Jun 14, 2007 12:00AM
I have been having sex with my boyfriend for 5 months now. We were both virgins. Ive been on birth control for 3 months and everything seemed fine! Up until about a month ago, having him "go" in me didnt bother me. But lately when he does, i get this awful burning sensation in my vagina! It goes away after about an hour and if we have sex with a condom i dont get any pain. Does anyone know what is going on?!

Hi,

It definately sounds like you may be allergic to his sperm, every mans sperm is different. Combined with his sperm and the acidity in the vagina can sometimes cause a disruption, where the woman may experience mild burning and even nausea until the next day. Sperm depending on the individuals body chemistry is sometimes stronger than others, and could ALSO after ejaculation leave you with that unfresh smell.

Follow-up with your physician to determine the exact cause, however do continue the use of condoms.

All the best!
