For a few years now I have experienced sporadic sharp jabs of pain in my lower right abdomen. It comes and goes, sometimes I experience no pain for months and then I have a few weeks of pain suddenly appearing and disappearing with no warning. It seems to have no relation to when I have my period.
I try to eat healthy and stay relatively active, but this pain is sometimes so bad I don't want to stand up. When I was in my early teens I had the doctor check it out but he said there was nothing wrong yet the pains continue. Am I worrying over nothing? Or should I get this checked out? I would feel silly going to the doctor if there's nothing really wrong and that this pain is normal for a woman in her early 20s....
