Starting birth control pill

by christina76, Jul 29, 2007 05:47PM
I had my period last week and am now getting back on the pill. Is it okay to start taking it today (Sunday) a week after I finished my period? Does it matter when you start it during the month? What are the risks?

Start taking it today if you want to  I don't see why you would have a problem.Make sure you take it the same time every day........

Thanks. I just wasn't sure if you HAD to take it the Sunday after your period or if you could start it anytime in the month no matter if it is the sunday after or not.
