Steroid use and sperm

My boyfriend uses steroids (stupid I know), but when he is on a steroid cycle and we have sex, I will get vaginal and/or bladder infections. I don't get this when he is not cycling. Is it possible that the steroids affect his sperm and thus affect me?  Is it an allergy of sorts?

Same here if the my "significant other" is using them. It at least gives me irritation, but usually a yeast infection. Then, when not using, I'm fine.

I have never herd of this. I was advised years ago that you should not try for children when you are using anabolic steroids. I have been using steroids for 8 years (on and off) and none of my partners have been affected. Do you know what he is using??
