Still heavy after 4 days on period

I started my period on Saturday morning, it's now Tuesday afternoon and it's still pretty heavy. I usually only have about a day or so of really heavy bleeding. I don't really have any major cramps, I don't see any unusually large clots, and I feel pretty normal except for the heavy bleeding. I'm really worried, anyone have any ideas?

Hm, not sure.  Sometimes we can pass a cyst and have heavier bleeding but usually we have more severe cramps than normal too with that.  You may just be having a tougher period.  I would not worry unless the heavy bleeding goes beyond 7 days.  The thing my doctor always says is to call if you are filling a pad or tampon once an hour or if you have clots golf ball size or larger.  good luck
