Stomach flutterings

I have been having flutterings in my lower stomach for a week now, my last two periods were lighter than normal but this hasnt worried me as we have been trying for a baby i done a pregnanct test about a month ago because of period being light and it was negative. I already have a 19 month old daughter and i had a c section. I was told it can take some time for your body to get back to some sort of normality after this. I dont want to take a test just yet as im worried it will be negative as we really would love another baby i feel i would be temting fate could this be a baby fluttering as they say you can feel it early on in pregnancy second time round is this possible, i would love to hear your views as i would feel rather silly if i went to the doctors only to find its nothing. Many thanks.

The fluttering under the rib cage is the Large intestine.  If you have either constipation or diarhee is can be Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Hello there. I'm 24yrs. old and I've been getting those fluttering feeling all around my midsection. My lower/upper right/left side, mostly under my right rib but sometimes on my left side to. I had my son in 2010 but I've felt the fluttering before pregnancy and after. I'm not overweight and I eat pretty healthy and take care of myself but my periods have never really been normal. I skip months and they can last from 3 to 7 days and this last one,has been going on over 2 weeks. Can anyone help?

I have found countless forums about this, but nobody ever follows up! I'm so disappointed because I have movement in the left side of my stomach just below my ribs. I'm not pregnant, I took test. I can't just go off to the doc cuz I have no health ins at the moment.  I'm 23 a little overweight, no children.  All of a sudden this morning the movement started and now it won't stop! Feels like something's kicking me lightly constantly, not painful tho, just annoying.  Please help!!!

I am not sure, but anything is possible. You can get "flutterings" with food allergies, gas, and all kinds of different things, so ovulations flutterings is a possibility since your body is releasing an egg. Have you been feeling gassy or having an reactions to foods to where this could be gas movement or food issues?

Hopefully your doctor will be able to provide more insight. Keep me updated on how things go ... I will be out of town this weekend, but I will still try to check the boards.

Definitely get an hpt. Go ahead and take it tomorrow with first morning urine.

Have you been charting, using OPK, or checking CM? If so, did you test to see if you ovulated this month? If you have OPKs lying around, go ahead and take one. They generally show positive if you are pg since they look for LH and HCG (but pg tests don't show positive if you are O).

Good luck! Keep us updated!
