Stomach wall seperation

Hi i have severe diastasis of my stomach wall or linea alba and have a four finger gap, what sort of treament should i enquire about having, ie surgery.  I am in the uk Many thanks Daisey

In extreme cases of diasteasis, diastasis recti is corrected during the cosmetic surgery procedure known as a tummy tuck by creating a plication or folding of the linea alba and suturing together. This creates a tighter abdominal wall. You need to consult a plastic surgeon for this purpose.
