Strains of Candidiasis (Yeast Inf) is tested when you go to the doctors office?

Is the candida glabrata tested? I am diabetic and I get these yeast infection that are immune to some of the OTC medicines. When I go to the women's clinic I know I have a yeast infection but their test always come back negative.

I have had this strain of yeast before and this is the strain that burns out hell! The others I had when I was younger and they just itch.
