Strange lump?

by lunabar5258, Jun 25, 2009 10:03PM
I'm 17 years old and have a strange lump on my labia majora, but directly to the left side of my vaginal opening. The lump is a light pink and painful to touch and is approximately the size of a pea. I am not sexually active, so I do not believe it is a sexually transmitted infection, but I am too nervous that my mom will be suspicious if I were to schedule an appointment with a gynecologist. I need to know what to do... I mean, I discovered it a few days ago, but I am a bit worried... Should I get an appointment? Or does anyone know what it might be?
