Sudden onset of wrinkles/sagging on arms

Hi all. I am a 44 year old woman who doesn't figure I am into perimenopause, but I may be. Sometimes my periods have been a bit early, but they are pretty regular and the only other thing I have experienced, and that has been for about 5 years now, is my digestion/bloatedness after eating.

About a 6 weeks ago, veins started showing in my hands and they have stayed permanently. They have progressed to quite bulging at times and they are starting to gradually increase. They sometimes seem to throb. About 2 weeks ago, I noticed my arms would wrinkle like crepe paper when I bent them. About 5 days ago, my skin started sagging and my tricep area has that "flap" now. I have always had beautifully toned arms, as I go to the gym 5 days a week. Now my arms are wrinkled, sagging and I am hysterical! I look in the mirror and cry.  Could someone please tell me what is going on, for this to come on so suddenly! I have a doctors app't in one week. Yes, I have fair skin and was sunburnt numerous times, yes, my Mother had wrinkles and yes, I am in the age of periomenopause...but this is so sudden. My arms look like the arms of a 60 year old woman. I am scared, please help. Thank you
Jeannine

Yes, you are so right.  I noticed my arms began wrinkling at the age of 75 and getting worse...I dislike wearing short sleeve blouses.  I too wonder what causes this yo happen!  Any help out there?

This arm thing has a very long thread which has been added to for three years.  It seems its an epidemic of suddenly aging arms.

Everyone comments but no solutions, I just dress the part and look good anyways  I too get frustrated at times but am greatful that at least I could go about my daily rutine and take care of my daily responsibilities at the end thats all that really matters.
