Swelling of labia majora?

Hi! This ask is a little tmi but I don't know where else to turn until my new health insurance card comes in. For the past few weeks, I've been noticing that my labia majora has had swelling in certain spots resulting in hard, lump like formations. First I noticed it on one side but then it went away and now I have a lump on each side and one is very hard and painful. My vagina is also very itchy all of the time.
I am not entirely sure what this is, thinking it could be an allergy to my pantyliners or something worse.

I doubt it is anything serious. A couple of possibilities, yes, you could have an allergy.  OR, you could have yeast overgrowth. OR you could have an infected hair follicle which happens in the area you describe.  Try not to mess with it (because if it is not infected, dirty fingers could make it infected.  You can try over the counter yeast infection treatment (which I guess I should ask if you have any discharge).  when does your insurance card come through?  If you are insured, card or not, this can be covered.  good luck
