Swimming and Pregnancy?

Ok! I got my period on May 31st. I AFed 6 days. Since then My dh and I have been very active. Well Saturday and Sunday we went swimming and both times I had to keep going to the restroom because I had to urinate.I have went swimming all my life and I have never had this problem before.

So I am not due to start my AF until the June 27th (28 day cycle) or the June 29th ( 30 day cycle). I usually start every thirty days.

So my question is: Could I be pregnant and could that be a reson I had to urinate so much while I was in the water?

at this point I couldn't say if that is a possible sign of pregnancy. I would just be patient and test as soon as you have missed your period. With me, because of my past, I had bought the ebay cheapies for pregnancy tests and tested everyday. The minute my body had enough hormones, I knew that I was pregnant. The Dr. wanted to put me on Progesterone the minute that I found out. Just in case.

You'd barely be halfway through your cycle at this point. I would imagine that your having to go to the bathroom while you were swimming was psychosomatic. I understand that it's hard to wait until after you've missed AF, but that is really all you can do, that or get to 4 days before your start date and take an early response hpt. Hopefully this is your month.

Lots of sticky baby dust to you!

i don't have any points to tell u. because i am also waiting for that good news. only one point i can tell u from your query is :

u mentioned in your query is u are going for a bathroom frequently.

my only suggestion not mine but from my doctors and from my mom friends is "don't use the public restrooms often eventhough it's clean don't use them often". u didn't mention u went to a swimming in public pool or your house.

if u go out for shopping or anything else don't use public restroom . The reason is u might have a high chances of getting yeast infection. because some of the ladies have yeast infection or viral or vaginal diseases . these diseases are common nowadays. who knows which lady used that restroom before u . and who know whether that lady is a healthy or not.

some of them don't know this. but one of my friends expereienced the above thing in her pregnancy last year.

That's my kind advice to u.

i think u and me waiting on a same boat. i hope god will help us.

i have to wait till june 26th. i hope i will tell some good news to u so do u.

Back when I was 18 and was really hot and heavy with a new boyfriend and we were having sex very frequently, I started having to pee constantly. I then found out that this condition actually has a name, it's called "the honeymoon syndrome". You have this hot sensation down there that makes you want to pee more frequently than you did before. It doesn't mean you have an infection, or that you're pregnant, it's just a woman's body's normal reaction to having had a lot of sex or some rough, long lasting sessions of sex. It's very common and I know it's not the answer you want to hear, but even if you are in fact pregnant, frequent urination would not likely be a genuine symptom yet.

yep. i agree with u. i am not frequent urination is a problem. it's a normal one. using the public restroom frequently is a problem.

i think u misunderstood my point.

She didnt misunderstand your point; she was answering the original poster.

I know the original question asked nothing about public restroom risks, butyou cant catch a yeast infection from a toilet seat. And the chances of catching a viral infection are slim at best.
