Swimming on period problem.

'Ello. By far this is going to be the akwardest thing I have ever written. But I'll do it. Because I have no idea.

I'm 12 years old. I've been having my period since I was 11...I have a graduation trip (From Elementary school, duh.)
on thursday.

There's gonna be a pool at the hotel. And I cannot not go in it because I'm stubborn. But I'm absolutley sure tomorrow or the day after tomorrow my period will come.

I do NOT want to use tampons...I have a very heavy cycle that lasts 7 days...And I'm not sure what to do...If neccesary in the end I will use tampons.

I've read that sometimes the cycle slows down or stops while in the water...But I wouldn't want to have an accident. Especially since I'll be around boys.

What should I do?

I need help from older women and not my mom, because...That's just akward -.-'
Please respond gals.

I really need your help.

I would wear one. Your period does not stop in the water. I've had mine leak in the bathtub.
