Swollen feet

I am a 26 year old African American female and lately my feet are constantly getting swollen. Ive never injured my feet nor am I on my feet all day. I will just wake up to find them swollen, it does not hurt or anything. I have not seen a doctor because I assume it was nothing but now they are swelling up frequently.

Have you ever had your blood pressure checked?  Do you have circulation problems?  Retain water easily?  Edema or swelling of the feet is often a symptom of other things going on.  I would definitely make an appointment as you are planning with your doctor.  best of luck to you

Hi Kateye.  I, too, am part African-American and female, though much older than you.  I have this problem, and I wear support stockings which help with the swelling and soreness quite a bit.  You can try this.  You should also see a doctor about it, at your age, there could be something else going on as well.  Blessings - Blu
