Swollen lump in neck

I recently noticed a swollen lump in the right side of my neck about 2 inches below my ear.  Saw a doctor, she said it was probably due to some infection...gave me antibiotics and said take these and see if it goes away.  I have no symptoms of any infection.  It's been 2 weeks and the lump is still there.  I only have two other issues...one I salivate A LOT.  2...I am having a terrible problem with facial flushing.  Any ideas on what it could be?

Swollen lymph nods are a sign of mono or another kind of infection.

That would be a lymph node, you have one on both sides of your neck.  They are usually inflamed because of an infection or viral thing like flu.  If they are still swollen then you need to return to your dr.
