I've had a swollenSwollen glands lymph nodeLymph node biopsy Swollen glands Swollen lymph nodes in the groin Swollen lymph nodes under arm in my left armpitArmpit lump since March. I'm very active (Swim club/water polo/softball) and I've never had this before. It's really tender and hurts to touch. I went to my pediatrician with my parents and was told that they had no idea what it was and that I would have to go see a OBGYN for further testing and a mammogram. I still haven't been to the OBGYN in hopes that it just needed time. It's been there almost five months or so now and sometimes it's really painfulPainful menstrual periods (pain radiating through my armpitArmpit lump) and other times it isn't so bad. It's not from an infection I don't think because of how long I've had it. My neighbor mentioned something about lymphoma. I'm really worried.
Hi,You really should see a OBGYN.Why haven't you all ready made an appointment? This is no laughing matter or nothing to not take serious. You have been given advice, from your pediatrician you should have went on and made an appointment then, not five moths later.Call your pediatrician and get a recomendation of a good OBGYN then schedule an appointment or have your pediatrician do it for you and let the pediatrician tell the OBGYN why you are being refered to them. That would help take the pressurePressure ulcer off you when you go in for your appointment. Please make an appointment through your pediatrician and let me know how you are doing.Take Care TNT406.
