Swollen vaginal lip, on left side

Please Help me!
So I just got over BV and a yeast infection, and on my last day of the cream I started to feel wierd on my clitoris, so I went and checked and there was dried cream under the hood of my clitoris so I wiped it away with a cotton cloth, then I started to get really really itchy on the outside of my clitoris, I took a shower and felt a little better. Then the next morning I felt itchy again and while I was in a clinic because of the itch I started feeling burning I couldn't figure out where it was though. The lady put the thing inside my vagina to check my cervix and that was very very painful! She found no yeast and sent me on my way, well then since I was burning I ran to another clinic I am terrified it could be herpes even though there is no noticeable cuts or blisters, so I asked the lady there to swab the area she wouldn't, she said that everything looked good except I had alot of discharge, well she tested the discharge for everything! It came back negative for everything!!! She even tested my urine nothing!! Not even white blood cells, nothing!!!
She was convinced that it was a reaction to the cream, but it's day three now and I'm still in pain!
Like I said before one side of my vaginal lips is swollen, the left side, its only swollen where the lip meets the clitoris, my clitoris look a little purple but doesn't seen to hurt anymore. It stings to wipe to hard, and it only bothersome when I walk. When I'm sitting down I have a burning feeling only in the clitoris region! Please tell me if you have had a similar experience, or maybe if you might think it could be something! I've tried seeing my GP he's ignoring my calls, and a week ago I just barley made an appt for a OB/GYN and I tried calling to get in sooner but she is fully booked!! So I have to wait 12 more days! This has happens before, before I was diagnosed with BV and yeast, it lasted for weeks, and since then the swelling never really went away, my lip is swollen and red, it's not majorly swollen though but it's obviously bigger than the other side and it's red, while the other side has a normal color and is not swollen! Please give me any opinion!!

Ok heres my 2 cents worth, I stopped using vaginal thrush creams years ago because they made me feel like I was cut or burnt and at times had swelling, and I now if I have any issues with thrush simply put 3 drops of tea tree oil in a teaspoon of olive oil(not any vegetable oil only pure olive) then I soak a tampon with this mix and insert it for 1 hr then do that 2 times a day, usually I only need do it one day if I catch it early enough, my partner uses the same mix on his penis and all it does is make the thrush go a powdery white and wash off a day or 2 later, where as in the past those creams would really eat into his skin and cause splits etc. Also to help get on a good acidophilus tablets, inner health is best, and lastly get a fgoot bucket fill it with warm water some salt and white vinegar and sit in it, salt and vinegar mimics our natural acidity, this type of bathing also helps after you have a baby and stiches or any other irritation. Try stop all sugars including cakes breads etc and increase drinking water and some herbals teas also can help. Hope this helps

I have the same clitoral discomfort you've described and for me it is associated with my cycle, i find I'm extremely sensitive in the one to two weeks leading to my period and i have on occasion experienced thrush with these symptoms, as far as I'm aware its perfectly normal, i get a sexual health check every three months. Showering ad natural yoghurt are quite soothing and you don't run any risk of using too much so i think its the best thing for it.
p.s In all my sexual health checks which I've been getting since i became sexually active 7 years ago I have never contracted an sti so I am fairly confident there is nothing wrong with you
If you experience this problem regularly as well as thrush heres what to do, take 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, boiled water that has cooled down, 2 1/2 teaspoons of acidophillus powder and 2-5 drops of tea tree oil and mix in either a home douche kit or any bottle with a nozzle (such as a sauce bottle, you can buy empty ones from variety stores) and douche twice a day (morning and night) for four days, even if symptoms stop finish this course. Also garlic tablets will help, or even just cutting up a clove of garlic into swallowable sized pieces and swallowing with water.
Hope this helps.

Well I wish that was the case for me but I finished medication for BV last week, however I did just barley finish the cream for yeast three days ago, but I'm still burning, the dr also told me that it may be an allergic reaction to the cream. It almost felt like my vagina was self cleaning yesterday because I had alot of clear discharge. I really really hope that it's just an allergic reaction, it seems to hurt right under my clitoris, and yeah one lip is still swollen and painful. So far No visible cuts or blisters tho, that's a good sign.

I have taken oral medication for BV, and experience very similar problems. My vaginal lips had swollen on the right side and was very painful. It had swollen inside out and itched. This also happened near the end of taken the medication. Therefore, I called the Ask-A-Nurse in the area where I live. She told me to stop taking the medicine and call the doctor because it probably was an allergic reaction to the medication. However, I continue the medicine until it was gone since I had almost finish. Not long after completing the medication the symptoms greatly improved.
