I only wore tampons on the 1st two days of my periods and I changed them every two hours and used them only from 7am - 4pm Also i used tampons with 11g absorbency (On the package it said recommended for mediumMedium chain triglycerides flow).
You would definitely have a fever, rash, or some of the other severe symptoms by now. TSS comes on fast and strong and is VERY rarely caused by tampons.
You don't have TSS. TSS is *extremely* rare; in the US, the statistics are 1-2/100,000 women between the ages of 15-44, and I'm sure it's the same for Australia. Besides, you don't have any TSS symptoms - but you do have cold symptoms :-)
Okay, just making sure because it's my 1st time with tampons and coincidentally I get a cold after my periods!
That is scarey!
Thank you for the comments and help! :)
