I am 36 and I recently discovered that I left my tampon in from last months period. I am FREAKING out right now because I have not had the usual pre-period sounds coming from my abdomen section yet, and I have only developed a horrible odor in the last 3 days. No other symptoms. What should I do?????????????
You are probably going to be fine. It is just something to stress you out so your mind is playing tricks on you and holding back your usual monthly routinesRoutine sputum culture. However, I would go see my doctor or at least call him and see what he says.

snowbunny36- know that this has happened to other womenWomen's way as well, you DO need to go to the Dr ASAP!!!!!!! They'll probably give you antibioditics as you're likely to have an infection
you might have an infection, hence, the odor. You should definitely go to the doctor as soon as possible! A doctor can give you antibiotics to kill any kind of infection you may have developed. Be more careful next time. You will be okay!
