I am a 31 year old lady, just carrying for the first time. I am 23 weeks pregnant. I had a severe pain in my belly while sleeping. My doctor told me that the pain was due to the thickening of the Uterine wall and it has been resulted due to cervical infection. She has prescribed antibiotics & vaginal caps for 20 days. She has conducted a scan and told me that the movements of the baby are fine and the baby's condition is fine. The amniotic fluid was also said to be adequate.
The pain has occurred due to the stiffening of the uterine wall.
Kindly let me know whether there are any precautions that I should take. Is it possible that I could have a normal delivery?
