I'm 44 and I have fibroids. I went to my gyncelogist today to have them evalutated for the ufe procedure. To my unliking, my Dr saw that my uterus lining was thicken. She now wants to have me come in and have a procedure to scrap it and have a biopsy done as well. I asked questions and then asked why should I be concerned. She mentioned thickening of uterus lining could be from my fibroids or a sign of uterine cancer! Or course I freaked out because the word "cancer" makes me very uneasy. Is this something I should worry about? I have heavy periods with very little cramping. Could this be something that happened because of the fibroids?
