Thoat Problem due to Eating

I was eating a large piece of bread and swallowed it. After it really hurt my thoat to swallow and has been hurting the rest of the night. Will it get better or did Irritate it by eating to much and to fast?

You probably just pulled the throat muscles or made a slight bruise. Drink plenty of cold drinks, it'll pass. It's happened to me a few times. I swallowed a full gobstopper and a large ragged edged crips sideways :(
