Tips to getting pregnant..the part doctors don't say

by msneicynola, Jun 29, 2006 12:00AM
HI.. This is for every woman who wants to get pregnant but it seems not to be working. I been having problems as well...but I started doing things my way, and it seems to be working...
1. you and your mate get a check up to see if everything is normal
2. If you can afford one, get BLue clear Ovulation test monitor
3. take prenatal vitamins
4. try Fertility Blend. it help regulate your hormones and helps regulate other things as well
5. You can take fertility blend and prenatal vitamins at the same time because together, they both have all the vitamins you need to increase your chance of getting pregnant. But you must take them regularly. Not lacking whatsoever
6. Doggy style and missionary are best positions for baby-making
7. No hot Baths
8. Be patient and take your temp. every morning at the same time when you wake up. This will help you know if your pregnant or not without getting a pregnancy test. if temp rises you are pregnant. If not, then you're not. The temp never lies
9. Don't worry, and don't lose faith because everything happens for a reason and in perfect timing. ( Remember That )
GOOD LUCK LADIES AND KEEP ENCOURAGING EACH OTHER, BUT DON'T GIVE SOME FALSE HOPE. BE HONEST. KEEP YOU HEAD UP

I just read in a magazine that the did testing and positions dont matter when TTC.  Dont make sense to me...gravity and all if you get what I mean.  But just some info I heard!

so does anyone know if prenatal vitamins really do help? what about folic acid i heard and have read that that helps as well?

by luv_babies, Jun 30, 2006 12:00AM
Prenatal will not help you get pregnant, but you should be taking them if you're trying to get pregnant.

Just to clear up about the temps: your temp will rise after O. If your temp stays elevated 18dpo, then you're most likley pregnant.

Prenatal vitamins have folic acid in them and they help to get the vitiams in your system and help to prepare your uterus for a baby.  The first three months after conception is very vital in taking prenatals.  This is when they do the most good.  Although you should take them all along.

About prenatals:  my perinatologist told me to take them and extra folic acid (folate) especially, because folic acid prevents spina bifida, and he had me taking a LOT of the folic acid 3 months BEFORE I got pregnant.  This is because the body draws on its reserves once it is pregnant, not just the vitamins you are taking that day.  Good luck ttc!

what do you do if it might be the guy that is having problems

by msneicynola, Jul 03, 2006 12:00AM
My best advice is to get the guy testes and give advice from a doctor.
